Recycled Timber:

Last Mountain Timber has recycled 200+ Grain elevators and over a dozen warehouses. Recycled timber is a premium building material as it offers stability, strength, and character. Most of our recycled inventory is comprised of Douglas Fir, Hemlock, Spruce, and occasionally Pine. We carry a wide variety of sizing and can custom-mill to your desired dimensions. For certain structural requests, we also have Recycled Douglas Fir Glulam.

Green Timber or (Somewhat Airdried Green) SWAD Green:

Green: Last Mountain Timber brings in freshly logged and processed Timbers. When the timber arrives in our yard, we start the air-drying process. Once stacked properly, the dry prairie climate can effectively draw out moisture from the wood. This makes it ideal for outdoor projects such as exterior trusses or outbuildings, as it typically ends up with a moisture content suitable for outdoor conditions. We offer green timber both as-is and custom-cut to your desired size.

SWAD Green: For some of our green inventory we will air dry for a few years and then we can re-saw the timber so that it is straight and square.

We do offer smaller sizes originally milled at 4×6, 6×6, 6×8.
