Custom Carpentry - Last Mountain Timber

At Last Mountain Timber we have over 25 years of experience and knowledge in custom carpentry and woodworking. We can provide design ideas for your project or you can bring the design to us and we will create it. We are a full-service wood shop and can achieve any of your wood project goals. From the Sawmill to the last coat of stain and everything in between. We can take your project to whatever stage you’re looking for.

Stair treads & Railing: Since 1998 Last Mountain Timber has built or supplied the material for stunning staircases. Our recycled inventory allows us the privilege to select the highest-grade material for all components of your staircase. For example, for stair treads, we can achieve any thickness, most commonly 2”-4” x 11” wide at any length, making our stable wood appropriate for modern floating tread designs with a central timber stringer. We can mill any size Stringer and any size for Newel Posts. As we go through our inventory we set aside the best recycled timbers that can achieve exceptional handrail and fillet requests.

Furniture: Our clients will send us a picture from Pinterest and we design and build it to fit your space.

Cabinetry: We build our cabinets to last. You can see examples in our shop and showroom that we use Baltic Birch plywood for the boxes and craft cabinet doors with a true frame and floating panel insert of your choice.
