We have a range of “Rustic” character timbers available for you to choose from. 95% of the timber we sell has been re-sawn square on our bandsaw mill. This wood can be left rough-sawn for you to finish. We can plane your order smooth or we can wire-brush the rough-sawn finish for a touch of rustic character. For interior furniture we use OSMO brand sealer, available in clear or colours. We can also spray water-based Urethane for furniture projects. For most of our timberwork, (interior and exterior) we use Messmer’s UV Plus to seal and protect the timber. We help clients select finish and colour according to their preferences.
