We are known across Canada for our Recycled Douglas Fir Timber.
Douglas Fir is prized for its size, strength, and versatility by timber framers and finish carpenters. It is very strong for its weight and is one of the hardest of the coniferous softwood trees. Our recycled Douglas Fir is Old Growth, meaning it was logged in the late 1800s and early 1900s from naturally diverse forests often resulting in remarkably high ring density and strength.

Last Mountain Timber has recycled 200+ Grain elevators and over a dozen warehouses. Recycled timber is a premium building material as it offers stability, strength, and character.  Ninety percent of our recycled inventory is comprised of Douglas Fir. LMT can easily mill any size timber or board in Douglas Fir 11”x11” and under.  We also have larger timber options in various lengths.  Our inventory of recycled Douglas Fir showcases the best wood this country ever grew.
